Body - 4340 alloy steel per AMS 6415 - heat treated - cadmium plated.
Ball - 440C stainless steel per AMS 5630 - heat treated.
Race - 17-4 PH stainless steel per AMS 5643 - heat treated.
PTFE Liner - (AT 3200) Permanently bonded to race inside diameter, qualified to SAE-AS81820 Type A.
Temperature range: -65°F to +325°F.
No load rotational breakaway torque can be varied to meet specific application requirements.
Keyslots are available. Units are supplied without keyslots. When a keyslot is required, specify by adding suffix "K". Ex.: ASWK-3T.
As applicable, keyslots will conform to SAE-AS81935/3 or NAS 559.
Rod End Bearings listed are manufactured to conform to the dimensions, materials, and configurations of SAE-AS81935/2, and are approved for procurement under this specification.
